Using Social Media to Make Money In Network Marketing

The latest trend in network marketing prospecting is using social media.  Websites like Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin are all great ways to meet new people on line.  Beyond just meeting people and keeping up with old friends these social media sites are powerful ways to add to your network marketing business.

The key to using this type of marketing plan is to keep in mind that this is a relationship business.  So no matter how much you can program a website or spend on different advertising techniques your end game success will end up being based on your ability to develop relationships with your friends on line.

Here are 7 tips to help you build your business using social media:

1.  Don't quit doing what you were doing to be successful.  The most important item to remember is that this method is in addition to not instead of what you were already doing in your business.  Think of it as throwing some gas on the fire.

2.  Use your page or profile as a billboard for your business.  Make sure it is professional and you don't let people put "grafitti" on your page or profile.

6.  Use the chat function if available.  If you can chat direct with people then you can develop the relationship faster.

7.  Use the phone...one of the key items is to find people, but get them on the phone when you are going to talk about the business.  This will help you read the situation to be able to build your relationship and sell the biz if it is appropriate.
