Advertising in Network Marketing

Ted Turner once said " Early to bed, early to rise, work like hell and advertise."

This works for network marketing as well.  Unless you are in your first six months of network marketing you are probably in the NFL....that stands for the no family and no friends league.  So what do you do?  You need to have a cold market system.  Advertising is the way to do that.

My mentor Brad Hager has made millions off of simple 3 line classified ads.  The point is things don't have to be complex to work.  Here are 7 keys to making any advertising program work in network marketing to help you make a true nationwide or international residual income.

1.  Needs to  be duplicatable.  Rule number one in any system in network marketing...we should call it the first commandment of network marketing.

2.  Need to be timely in your first call to the person.  If you think they are waiting for you to call you are wrong...the person called for a reason and left you a message or emailed you...respond quickly.

3.  Have posture on the phone.  What we mean with this is when you do talk to them don't say things like we need you in this business.  People don't want to be needed when they are going to buy a business.  Have a posture with the attitude that they need you, you don't need them.  Remember they called you and you already have a business.

4.  Ask qualifying questions when on the phone.  Further qualify the prospect.  You don't want to wast you time with people who don't do what they say they will do.

5.  Face to Face presentations are always better.  In our team we close 9 out of 10 we are face to face with when the first four things are followed. 

6.  Be timely in your follow up.  If you have an appointment with someone and the follow up is going to happen 3 weeks from that appointment you have a very low chance of that follow up even happening let alone the person actually sign up in your business.

7.  Train your team in the system.  The key to any successful team is that the leader trains the downline.  You have to help you team do it the right way or what is the point of doing it at all?
